ROUND 1 FOOTBALL PREVIEW
"It is an exciting time for the club as we prepare to commence the season in Round 1 against a quality side in Hepburn.
Our boys have been training really hard over the pre-season. They have been committed, they have worked hard for each other, and we are starting to see some really positive changes across the group.
It is always exciting to come up against a side like Hepburn. They are a club that is well known for performing at a high level, with a strong desire to compete, and I know they will be just as excited as we are to get Round 1 underway.
A special mention has to go to the effort our playing group has put in over the pre-season. We have welcomed a number of new players to the club, and the way they have bought in and helped lift the standards across the whole group has been really pleasing.
Hepburn is always a tough challenge, whether it is Round 1 or Round 17, but we are looking forward to a really competitive contest against a team that has been strong for a long time."
